Sandy Simon suffered a massive cerebral hemorrhage in the prime of his life and was declared 100% disabled. He devoted himself to writing and painting, initially, as therapy and has made a miraculously recovery. 

His book, A Stroke of Genius, is the basis of many of his lectures but more importantly has become a guide the other victims and their families, offering a pathway to recovery.

Sandy has been invited as keynote speaker at numerous regional conferences on stroke by the American Heart Association. His speaking engagements have taken him across the country.
